The first shop, at Angel Hill, was opened in November 2005 and Dane-T's has become well known, not only within the Tiverton area but Nationally as well, with many of our customers including us on thier holiday itinerary.  We are constantly being complimented on our wide choice of goods, the large selection of handcrafted items available and the overall quality and variety of Dolls Houses and Miniatures that we have in our shop.  Our displays are changing constantly and we are always looking for new and innovative ideas to enhance our products and services.

 

We offer a building, lighting and decorating service and pay great attention to the interior and exterior design of houses to ensure our customers receive the houses of their dreams.  We also do home visits for that extra personal touch to discuss projects with our customers and it is fantastic to be able to work closely from start to finish.  if our customers are happy then so are we.

 

Our 16 year old cat Brodie (seen in the picture on the left, posing with our grand daughters), had become famous for lying in our previous window and was quite the local celebrity, people talked about us as "the shop with the cat in the window" and we had to build our window displays to incorporate a space for her to sleep.  We also had a new addition called Munchkin who also discovered the window was a great place to be!  As a kitten he thought the whole shop was his playground (as you can see from the photo's below).

 

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective) we have had to leave both the cats at home and they are not at all impressed when we leave for work in the morning and they are not allowed to come with us!  However we can finally dress our windows and know thety will not be destroyed by two determined cats.
